This Cookie Policy explains how the TrainerBox website at trainerboxapp.com (the "Website") uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and browser fingerprinting. They can be used to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, or track your activity across websites.

The Website Does Not Use Cookies

The Website does not set any cookies, first-party or third-party. It also does not use local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, advertising scripts, social media widgets or embedded third-party content. Every page is served directly from our own server with no external scripts.

Because nothing is stored in your browser and no tracking takes place, the Website does not show a cookie consent banner. There is nothing to consent to and nothing to opt out of.

What the Website Does Collect

Like almost every web server, ours records standard access logs when you load a page. These logs contain your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use them only to keep the Website secure, to prevent abuse and to apply per-address rate limits on our API. They are kept for a limited period and are not used for advertising or profiling. Shared Deck Links

When you open a shared deck link such as trainerboxapp.com/decks/abc123, the page tries to open the TrainerBox app on your device and otherwise sends you to the app store. This works through a link handled by your browser and operating system. No cookie or identifier is stored to do this.

The TrainerBox App

The TrainerBox mobile app is separate from the Website. The app does not use browser cookies, but some of its service providers, such as Google AdMob for advertising and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting, may use device identifiers. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, and you can limit ad tracking in your device settings. How the app collects and uses data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Links to Other Sites

The Website links to the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those sites have their own cookie and privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes to This Policy

If the Website ever starts using cookies or similar technologies, we will update this page first and, where required, ask for your consent before they are set. The date at the top shows when this policy was last changed.
