Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your TrainerBox account and the data associated with it. TrainerBox accounts are created by signing in with Google or Apple. If you have never signed in, TrainerBox holds no account for you and there is nothing to delete on our side.
Option 1: Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the TrainerBox app:
- Open TrainerBox and go to the Settings tab.
- Tap your account card at the top of the page.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
- If prompted, sign in again with Google or Apple to verify it is you.
Your account is deleted immediately once the confirmation succeeds.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or the in-app option does not work for you, send an email to trainerbox@trainerboxapp.com with the subject "Account deletion request". Please send it from the email address linked to your Google or Apple sign-in so we can verify the request. We process email requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your TrainerBox account and sign-in credentials (Google or Apple).
- Your email address and display name associated with the account.
- The link between your account and your subscription customer record. Purchase and subscription records themselves are retained by RevenueCat and the app store as required for refund handling, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
What is not deleted
- Data stored on your device. Your collections, decks, lists, and tournament records are stored locally on your phone. They are not stored on our servers and are not affected by account deletion. Uninstall the app to remove them.
- Cloud backups you created. Backups are stored in your own Google Drive or iCloud account, not on our servers. You can delete them from Google Drive or iCloud at any time.
- Deck links you shared. Shared deck links contain only card lists and are not linked to your account.
- Crash and diagnostic logs. Anonymous crash reports are retained by our crash reporting provider for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.
